Mundo de Walt Disney

It's a  holiday resort  famous for his  theme parks  and numerous  hotels . The complex is operated by  Walt Disney Parks, Experiences and Products  and owned by  The Walt Disney Company . It is located in the area of  Lake Buena Vista  and  Bay Lake  on  fl . Construction began in 1967, less than a year after the death of  Walt-Disney . On October 1, 1971, the park known as  Magic Kingdom ; then the theme parks were added to the complex  epcotDisney's Hollywood Studios  and  Disney's Animal Kingdom . Have a  overall area of  12,000 hectares  more than thirty hotels and also  Of the four main theme parks, the complex has two  water parks , six golf circuits, a sports complex, two shopping centers,  own hotels, numerous shops, and restaurants.

How to get to Disney World

The two main entry routes are Miami and Orlando, with Miami being the most common.

Plane: It is the easiest way to arrive through Orlando International Airport (MCO) or fly directly to Miami and rent a car.

Car: it is convenient to rent it at the Miami airport. From Miami to Disney World there are 370 kilometers and on the highway it takes about four hours to get there.  

Internal plane: they are very cheap, especially  all in the case of two nearby cities like Miami and Orlando.

Bus: There are several bus companies that will take you to and from the Miami Airport to Orlando, they do not depart from the Miami airport and they do not drop you off at the parks. With which you have an additional cost. There is a company transport  Red Coach The Ultimate Ride , a little more expensive than renting a car, than from the Miami airport itself  can take you to the park gate or to your Orlando hotel.  

Cab:  very good service but expensive.

How to get around Disney World

Between the parks and the different complexes there is a network of buses, monorail and boats with which you can move for free from one point to another. It is organized in a way that it looks like the public transport service of a big city. For example: Magic Kingdom Theme Park and Epcot are connected by monorail. Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios are connected by boat. The Magic Kingdom Park and Disney's Hollywood Studios are connected by buses. Disney's Animal Kingdom theme park is connected to the other 3 theme parks by buses.  

Tickets to Disney World

The price of tickets is very variable, since it will depend on the days and the type of ticket you want to buy.

Ticket Disney base 1 day

This ticket allows you to visit one park per day. In other words, if you buy the 2-day ticket you can visit one park on the first day and another park on the second day. This type of ticket does not allow you to change parks during the same day and does not allow you to visit the water parks.  

Disney ticket with  HOPPER

With this ticket you can visit all the parks that  want. In other words, it allows you to change parks whenever you want during the days you are there.

Disney ticket with  HOPPER PLUS

It is the same as the previous one (it allows you to change the park at your will) and gives access to the water parks of Blizzard Beach Water Park and Typhoon Lagoon Water Park. With this ticket you can also enjoy a round at Disney's Oak Trail Golf Course and miniature golf at Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature and Winter Summerland  

What to see at Disney World

Magic Kingdom

It is a theme park  open the  October 1st  from  1971 still  the most famous of  Florida and the most visited in the world. Some  of its attractions are:

Main Street, USA

Instead of being a reproduction of a small town in the American West,  Main Street, USA  Magic Kingdom offers some styles that are influenced by cities in the country and the decoration is due to a city of early  20th century , to the childhood of Walt Disney and to the town of  The Lady and the Tramp . Visitor Services is located at City Hall, where "cast members" provide assistance and information

 

Adventureland

It represents the mystery of exploring unknown lands. on  the remote jungles of  Africa ,  Asian , the  Middle East ,  South America  and the  South Pacific , with a representation of native peoples from the Caribbean. Attractions: Pirates of the Caribbean , Jungle Cruise Riverboat,  Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, Swiss Family Treehouse, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, and A Pirate's Adventure.

 

frontierland

It represents the old wild west where cowboys and Indians live, and invites the visitor to explore the mysteries of the rivers of  America . Attractions: Splash Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain Railroad, Tom Sawyer Island, Country Bear Jamboree, Frontierland Shootin' Arcade, and Walt Disney World Railroad

 

Liberty Square

This area of the park is based on a revolutionary American town. The Magic Kingdom rivers that pass through Liberty Square are toured by the Liberty Belle Riverboat catamaran. Attractions:  Haunted Mansion, Hall of Presidents and Liberty Square Riverboat

It is themed in a world of carnivals and medieval tales, which have become the filmography of the  studies and  divided into three parts:

- Fantasyland. The immediate area behind the castle, hatching a German village. Attractions: Cinderella Castle , Prince Charming Regal Carousel , Mickey's PhilharMagic , Princess Fairytale Hall , and Peter Pan's Flight .

- Fantasyland Enchanted Forest. Creating an enchanted forest. Attractions:: The Many Adventures of Winnie the Pooh , Mad Tea Party , Seven Dwarfs Mine Train ,. Enchanted Tales with Belle ,  Belle's Village, Under the Sea and Meet Ariel at her Grotto

- Fantasyland Storybook Circus. A 1920's circus featuring Dumbo, and the classic characters. Attractions:  Dumbo the Flying Elephant , and The Barnstormer.

The attractions were designed to invite you to participate in what our future will be and are themed around what a spaceport would be like. Attractions: Astro Orbiter, Stitch's Great Escape!, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Tomorrowland Speedway, Walt Disney's Carousel of Progress, Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Monsters Inc. It was the second park to open at Disney World after the Magic Kingdom. It has an extension of 1.2 km² and a parking lot for more than 11,000 cars.  It is dedicated to international culture and technological innovation and was opened in October 1982 as the Epcot Center, which was changed to Epcot in 1996. Disney's Hollywood Studios

Formerly known as  Disney-MGM Studios opened its doors on May 1, 1989 and covers an area of 546,000 m². The park's theme is movies and television shows made in  Hollywood .  Some  of its attractions are:

Inspired by the homonymous street of  Los Angeles , is home to restaurants and shops selling Disney merchandise, along with parades and other street entertainment.

Echo Lake

It was designed to reflect the architecture of Hollywood's golden age. Attractions: Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular! ,  Jedi Training: Trials of the Temple and   For the First Time in Forever:  Frozen Sing-Along Celebration .


Toy Story Land  

Where all visitors become "honorary toys". Attractions: Toy Story Mania!, Slinky Dog Dash and  Alien Swirling Saucers.

Animation Courtyard

This section has attractions based on movies and characters created by  Walt Disney as : Walt Disney: One Man's Dream,  Voyage of the Little Mermaid ,  Beauty & The Beast Live on Stage and  Disney Junior Live on Stage .

sunset boulevard

Lets enjoy  a captivating holiday projection show with fabulous laser effects and simulated snow on Sunset Boulevard. Attractions: The Little Mermaid Live on Stage , Rock 'n' Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith , The Twilight Zone Tower of Terror , and Fantasmic!

Star Wars: Galaxy's Edge

Area inspired by Star Wars. Attractions:  Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run,  Star Wars Launch Bay and Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance.

Animal Kingdom

It was the fourth park built in the resort inaugurated on  April 22  from  1998 covering 230  hectares is the largest Disney theme park in the world. It is also the first Disney park whose theme focuses exclusively on the conservation of nature, Walt Disney's pioneering philosophy.  Some  of its attractions are:

Oasis

It is the main entrance of the park. In addition to providing many services for visitors, the Oasis includes a large number of animal habitats. Attraction: The Oasis Exhibits.

Discovery Island

This area is roughly in the center of the park, in the middle of the Discovery River channel connecting almost all other sections of the park. Attractions: It's Tough to be a Bug! (based on the movie A Bug's Life),  3D feature housed at the roots of the Tree of Life and Discovery Island Trails.

Camp Minnie-Mickey

It is an area set up like a rustic summer camp. Here visitors can meet Disney characters like  mickeymouse ,  minniemouse ,  Goofy ,  Donald Duck  and others. Attractions: Festival of the Lion King and Greeting Trails. (Meeting with Disney Characters).

Africa

Set in the fictional village of East Africa (Harambe), this area contains a large number of animals. Attractions: Kilimanjaro Safaris: Vehicle Touring Harambe,  Wildlife Reserve goes on unpaved roads. Where you will feel buffeted by the steep and rugged terrain and  Pangani Forest Exploration Trail.

Rafiki's Planet Watch

This is the only section not connected to Discovery Island, but it is connected to Africa. Visitors board the Wildlife Express Train for a short ride to and from Planet Watch, which consists of three distinct areas. Attractions: Habitat Habit!,  Conservation Station and Affection Section.

Asia

As in Africa, the attractions in this section are part of a fictional place, the kingdom of Anandapur that contains two villages: the one with the same name and Serka Zong, which is located at the foot of the foothills of the Himalayan mountains. Attractions: Flights of Wonder, Maharajah Jungle Ter, Kali River Rapids (Raft Adventure), and Expedition Everest-Legend of the Forbidden Mountain.

Dino Land USA

It is inspired by dinosaurs where the fictional Dino Institute and its surrounding facilities attract those with scientific interests in these extinct animals. Attractions: The Boneyard (Labyrinth built around dinosaur fossil remains), Fossil Fun Games,  Finding Nemo-The Musical, Primeval Whirl, Tricera Top Spin and DINOSAUR.

Typhoom Lagoon

It is a water park that opened its doors on June 1, 1989 and contains the largest wave pool in the world. The theme of the park is a "Disney Legend" of a typhoon that destroyed a beautiful tropical paradise. In the park there are boats, fishing buoys and surfboards left behind by the "storm".  Some  of its attractions are:

Mount Mayda

It is located behind the surf pool. Attractions: Humunga Kowabunga, Storm Slides,  Gang Plank Falls, Mayday Falls,  Keelhaul Fall,  Forgotten Grotto and  Overlook Pass.

Hideaway Bay

It is a sandy beach that is located behind the changing rooms. It is the most hidden sector of the park and here is the newest attraction of Disney's Typhoon Lagoon. Attractions: Typhoon Lagoon Surf Pool, Bay Slides, Blustery Bay.

Shark Reef

Two saltwater reefs, separated by a sunken ship offer guests an "experience" with the creatures of the Caribbean Sea. Attractions: Shark Reef, Sunken Tanker, SAS Adventure and Hammer Head Fred's Dive Shop.

Castaway Creek

"Lazy river" that little by little gives  loop around the entire park, passing small waterfalls, lush jungles, spray screens, and Mount Mayday itself. Passengers can float by  your account or on supplied inner tubes.

Disney's Blizzard Beach 

It's a  water park  inaugurated  on April 1st,  nineteen ninety five  built after  Typhoon Lagoon  . The theme of the park is the legend of  Disney , which tells of the great blizzard that led to the building of the first  theme park  from Sky.  Some  of its attractions are:   

Green Slope

The attractions are located at the highest point of Mount Gushmore. They can be visited on foot, or by cable car. Attractions: Slush Gusher, Summit Plummet and Team Boat Springs.

Purple Slope

To access the attractions at Purple Slope you must walk up the path that leads past the Downhill Double Dipper pool. Attractions: Downhill Double Dipper, Snow Stormers and Toboggan Racers.

Red Slope  

It is located in the smallest area of the park, so it only contains one attraction,  Runoff Rapids with several colossal slides, but it is not designed to compete due to the difference in sizes between them.

Ground Level

Where you will find the following attractions: Melt Away Bay, Cross Country Creek, Ski Patrol, Tike's Peak and Chairlift.
